This short “mood film” is lightly cut from a single 50-ft roll of Kodak 50D film, shot on a Super8mm camera. Filmed photojournalism-style, in Cypress Provincial Park, on the last powder day of 2019. The intent was merely a camera test for a separate commercial project, but I wanted to simply capture the vibe I was feeling that morning. This edit utilizes about 60% of the footage from the one roll of film, cut mostly chronologically, and mostly for brevity. Looking forward to including more Super8 imagery in client projects — as always, hit me up to discuss.
